second node edge around node details - POSSIBLE?

second node edge around node details - POSSIBLE?

Postby lexje » Wed Apr 02, 2014 7:56 am

Hi,

Is it somehow possible to have a 2nd border (or node edge) around a node that encompasses the node details (if present)?
This would look something like this:

If this is possible I'd like to create kind of a template that you can choose when creating a new mindmap.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Maybe this map is a solution.
Apply the style 'DOUBLE BORDER' to the nodes you want.

Thanks for your suggestion! This is definitely helping.

At least it made me discover Styles. I'll be delving into this.

Do you know if it is possible to modify styles on a deeper level? Maybe with Groovy?
Is there a way to modify "line type", e.g. ?

Thank you!

It is easy to modify styles. You have to choose in the menus: Format / Manage Styles / Edit Styles (I use the Spanish version of Freeplane, so the exact menus may be a bit different) and chanche what you want, even the normal style.
