## Inline entry of unicode characters

### Inline entry of unicode characters

Hello,

I would like to use Freeplane to create propositional and predicate logic trees to aid my studies and would like to be able to add unicode characters such as universal and existential quantification (uncode &#x2200 and &#x2203 respectively) as inline text during node creation. I understand that these characters can be added by editing the node core in dialog, but I am trying to determine if I can use Freeplane as a note taking and proposition analysis tool and need to be able to quickly add such characters inline. I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone may be able to provide.

Thanks and regards,

John

hi John,

in 1.3.x (1.3.7_03 is pretty stable), you can use the LaTeX feature to do that.
Enter this in a node:
Code: Select all
`\latex \forall \exists`

(you can set Format=LaTeX instead of the "\latex " prefix)
