Flash Export still used?

Postby fnatter » Sat Jan 25, 2014 4:10 pm

Dear Freeplane users,

is the Freeplane flash (swf) export still used?

I think it is less complete than the Java Applet export (and not actively
maintained), and Debian packaging requires that the source code be shipped
along with the freeplane package.

If there are users of this, then I will add a separate
freeplane-flash-browser package with its source code. If no one uses
this, then I would save a bit of work in removing it from the Debian
package.

Best Regards,
Felix

This is one of those self fulfilling prophesies. We would probably use it in preference to the java applet if it was as near a rendering as the java is. However, because its not, we dont!

hi Iain,

I did not mean to influence anyone with my wording.
(and if you badly need it, then you can take over as a maintainer of it ;-))

If I had the faintest clue how to I would consider it! My last serious coding was in the late 1970s with Algol and Fortran !
