Where are the discussions taking place now?

The wiki page covering community and developments points here, but clearly not much is happening. Is the project defunct?

hi,

I updated the wiki page (http://freeplane.sourceforge.net/wiki/i ... velopments):

General discussions are still taking place here, but the developer forum / mailing list has been moved to
http://freeplane-developer.996965.n3.nabble.com/

Best Regards,
Felix

Thanks Felix. Good to see such a quick response.

Have only just discovered FreePlane (and re-acquainted myself with FreeMind) after using MindManager for years, but deciding to abandon that expensive ship.

Still trying to figure out the differences between FreePlane and FreeMind as both seem (now, thanks to the link you shared) under active development. The modernising of the code base though for FreePlane does sound a promising base for development, but I am surprised at the divergence already. For example, found multi-select (of several nodes, so I could change the colour) did not work in FreePlane in the standard Windows way, but did in FreeMind.

hi,

there is a little bit of FreeMind migration info at the bottom of this page:
http://freeplane.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Freeplane_features_you_were_missing_in_FreeMind
=> please help us improve it (if you want to be able to edit the wiki, post here).

I can select multiple nodes by ctrl-clicking and then change properties in the property panel for all nodes.
=> Please explain your problem in more detail.

Best Regards,
Felix
