I've included all my translations so far and an image of the menu; I'll keep updating. If there is other way to upload, please tell me and I'll use it. :D

It appears then special characters wit accents are not recognized. Post a bug report to Mantis so Volker can take care of this.


I'll have to study this one. Not exactly sure how that is done. :?: But I'll try!

Hi Pedro,
Before adding, the following revisions are necessary for the templates:
1. the names of the files should not be translated, e.g. (i)_basic_pt_PT is the portuguese version
2. In each template the root node has an attribute language=en. This should be set to language=pt_PT
3. Some template nodes are unfolded. Probably you saved with your Preferences set to keep folding state. First fold, then save, then check by reopening folding state.
4. template default_pt_PT probably is the default of Freeplane, not of IndexFile. This one is not needed then.

As far as Help is concerned, a am working at a big revision to be used for coming beta version 0.1.

Just to know: also attribute names are not translated

If you send your revision I will add them to the add-on. Did add menu and Help file to v0.0.15 already.

The packaged add-on, may not contain special chars. If you release an add-on with releaseAddOn.groovy ("Package add-on for publication") then this will be taken care of.

Translators can patch package files with the script attached to the Mantis issue 2091.

I tried to give Freeplane 2048Mb Heap, but it doesn't help.

I'd like to use it to organize/annotate FP bug reports (which are *.log files in one folder).
Can you help me fix this? Please let me know if you need more logs.

Hi Felix,
I have posted 0002096 in Mantis, for Volker to look at. It seems a loader problem.

I'd like to use it to organize/annotate FP bug reports (which are *.log files in one folder).

In the mean time you could use the older version of Freeplane, which works fine for me even in a nework environment.

Felix,
once you installed indexfile with FP 1.2, you can use it with FP 1.3.
(This proves once more it is an add-on loader problem.)

thanks for the help.

now I'm on 1.2.23. I am trying to index
/home/felix/doks/freeplane/bugreports/2014-01-25/ with the "Basic" type.

There is a small problem under Linux:
If I use the suggested file name (Ctrl+v) in the Save as dialog, I get:
(i)_/2014-01-25(2014--freeplanedev)_B.mm
=> "attempt to save failed" (due to the '/')
=> so I put the file in /home/felix/doks/freeplane/bugreports/2014-01-25/index.mm

However, when trying to open an indexed *.log file (click on the link), I get:
"Unable to run the command specified. The file or folder
file:///home/felix/doks/freeplane/bugreports/2014-01-25/119efe4f768a4701f7600643b53fe3e7.log/
does not exist."

--> I'd like to simply open a text editor like emacs or gedit (or edit the
file within Freeplane).

Is "Basic" the right dossier type for maintaining a (single) folder with a
set of log files? I think I can keep all meta data (annotations) of the
existing files if I add new *.log files to the folder and refresh?

Finally, is there a way to make the paths relative so that I can zip the
folder with the *.log files and index.mm and someone else can work with
this (provided the person has the add-on installed)?

BTW: From the prefs: "multi languagal" --> "multilingual"

the generated file name should have been:
(i)_2014-01-25(2014--freeplanedev)_B.mm

Typical linux-winwows problem I neglected. It should be solved in v0,0,24. Please let me know. Hope I have been more careful on other places...

unfortunately 0.0.24 has the same problem ('/' in path when using Ctrl+v in step 3).
I also deinstalled the old version and made a clean install of indexfile-v0.0.24.addon.mm.

But that's not as important as the fact that there is no way to open the *.log files in
my type=Basic index. Could you please help me with this?
(I'd like to simply open a text editor like emacs or gedit (or edit the
file within Freeplane))
--> Can you add a hack for this, or is this use case generally unsupported?

(also, less importantly, how can I get relocatable paths?)
