New addon: IndexFile

Verion 0.0.21 displays minimum and maximum length of path and pathnames.

Help has added prferences and a node on when to use absolute links. The default for indexed links has been set to absolute. You can reset it to relative in Preferences.

Help online is implemented, which displays the most recent English version of Help. (Please test)
This may be useful when you use a translation and the English Help has been improved: you can easily open both the translation and the English version. The version nr is displayed in the root. In this way you can see if you need updating.

Version 0.0.28 has been uploaded.
It has been optimized for annotating large folders, a.o. by hiding edges. Please test and give your opininon.
It is possible to keep using old dashboards. However I adapted the english templates for an improved appearance.

Version 0.0.29:
reorganisation of template structure
better support of folding, sorting with star node
file nodes have date as child
context menu for annotations as child of node Index(will grow)

Use the new dashboards only, or convert old ones as follows.

CONVERSION
Node Index has a different node ID in the new template: the star is the old node Index. To get the right nodId:
1. If you haven't used no annotatons, yust open a new template, copy the management and other information you added yourself to the new template and click button Index.
2. If you want to preserve annotations: as 1, and copy all indexed nodes to the (new) star node as well.

TRANSLATION
If you have translated templates, edit your templates as follows:
1. remove Index node first
2. copy star node and Index node and (Back node) from new english template
3. move all nodes except star node from right to left
4. adapt the color of other nodes
5. select all nodes and apply Edit> reset node positions.

PORTUGUESE
For potuguese I did this already. Just check for English texts to be translated. :D

hi Jodi,

0.0.29 is faster (as you stated) and the files are sorted alphabetically,
great! I will use this version to continue sorting bug reports.

better support of folding, sorting with star node

How can I sort? I tried to click on the * node to the right of the root
node, but nothing happens. On the other hand, the files are automatically
Sorted alphabetically, so that works really well for me!

Cheers and Best Regards,
Felix

With star node selected you can use Freeplane's standard sort mechanism( menu Edit). At present it has alfabetic sort only. I'm planning to add sorting based on modification date - this is why date-time was added as a child node.

Does the new look better fit your purpose ?

hi Jodi, yes it fits my purpose really well - I can also create connections between related reports
(i.e. if one stack trace only occurred because of failure in another report)!

version 0.0.31
Added contextmenu of node Index with many options.
Child node with date/time hidden by default; see options.
Nodelinks relative by default, see options.
Portuguese: many new keys which need translation.

N.B. Volker solved bug in add-on loader of FP 1.3.x Hence soon no longer need to install with FP 1.2 if you are using FP 1.3.x

Pedro,
there was a bug in annotations. I solved in in v.o.32. It has no effect for the translations.

version 0.0.33 has added options for dashboard Basic:
sort alphabetic
sort last modified
sort foreward
sort backward
See Help.

N.B. The add-on installer problem with newest version of FP 1.3 is definitely solved. So you don't need 1.2 any more.
(Portuguese: new translations)
